A limited edition of the Mallard representing 3 stages in her career:

        Version 1/. LNER A4 No. 2509 (60014) The first one built "Silver Link"

                         in Silver Grey livery . Straight hand rail period 1935-1937
                         Fully skirted, double levers on inspection hatches, single
                         chimney, corridor tender.
        Version 2/. LNER A4 No. 4468 (60022) World speed record "Mallard"
                         in Blue Livery, curved hand rail Period 1935- 1942 fully skirted
                         single lever on inspection hatches, double chimney from new
                         Streamlined non corridor tender, this is exactly how she was preserved
                         from 1966 to present day
        Version 3/. LNER A4 No. 4498 (60007) "Sir Nigel Gresley" Now with the A4
                         Preservation Society in BR Green Livery period 1952- 1966
                         No skirting, single lever on inspection hatches, curved hand rail
                         double chimney, corridor tender.

- LNER EARLY: (1928) onward as an A1 class with RHD and corridor tender in LNER. 
- BR: GREEN LIVERY (1952-63) numbered 60103, classed A3 with LHD and banjo dome.
- LNER TODAY: (TODAY) As preserved in LNER livery (no smoke deflectors)

Over 1300 of these French and US designed Mikados were delivered to France after WW II. The 141R is a great tribute to the cooperative effort to restore infrastructure lost during the war. A limited edition of the Liberation Mikado representing 3 highly detailed and beautifully finished versions:

Great Western Railway King Class
King George V #6000

The first 'King' locomotive, number 6000 King George V was completed in June 1927 and shortly afterwards it was shipped to America to participate in the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad centenary celebrations. There the engine was presented with a bell and plaques to commemorate its contribution and these are still carried by the locomotive today. When King George V returned to Britain it was affectionately know as 'The Bell' until its withdrawal.
